First Concertmaster of the Wrocław Philharmonic. He graduated with distinction from the I.J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań under Prof. Bartosz Bryła, and completed postgraduate studies at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw with Prof. Iwona Wojciechowska. He is a laureate of national and international competitions and a recipient of scholarships from, among others, the Marshal of the Wielkopolska Region, the Amadeus Foundation, and the Ewa Czeszejko-Sochacka “Promotion of Talent” Foundation. He has honed his skills in masterclasses and chamber music courses with renowned artists such as Wanda Wiłkomirska, Jadwiga Kaliszewska, Wolfgang Marschner, Charles Treger, Petru Munteanu, Trio Fontenay, and the Camerata Quartet.
He has performed as concertmaster, soloist, and chamber musician in Europe, Asia, and both Americas. He has made numerous recordings, including award-winning ones: Fryderyk Award for the recordings of Lutosławski’s Symphonies No. 2 and 4 (CD ACCORD, conductor Jacek Kaspszyk), BBC Award for Berlioz’s Requiem (NFM, conductor Paul McCreesh), and the 2019 ICMA Award for Arvo Pärt Symphonies (ECM, conductor Tõnu Kaljuste). As the first violinist of the Lutosławski Quartet Wrocław, he recorded Witold Lutosławski Opera Omnia I. Chamber Music (CD ACCORD), which was nominated for the Fryderyk 2009 and the Wrocław Music Award. Together with Łukasz Długosz, Katarzyna Budnik, and Rafał Kwiatkowski, he founded the flute quartet FourTune, with which he recorded an album of the same name in 2013 featuring music by Krzysztof Penderecki, Krzysztof Meyer, and Władysław Słowiński (NFM/CD ACCORD).
As a guest concertmaster, he has appeared many times in Poland and abroad, including Germany, Norway, Spain, Mexico, Chile, and at the Haydn Festival in Eisenstadt, Austria. He has premiered numerous works by both Polish and international composers.
Radosław Pujanek collaborates in chamber music with artists such as Julian Rachlin, Konstanty Andrzej Kulka, Daniel Stabrawa, Bartosz Bryła, Krzysztof Jakowicz, Bartłomiej Nizioł, Radosław Szulc, Andrei Ionita, Jose Gallardo, Klaudiusz Baran, Agata Szymczewska, Katarzyna Budnik, Janusz Wawrowski, Jakub Jakowicz, Tomasz Bińkowski, Ryszard Groblewski, Michał Micker, Tomasz Strahl, Michał Francuz, Marcin Sikorski, Michał Rot, Rafał Kwiatkowski, Marcin Zdunik, Tomasz Daroch, Wojciech Fudala, and others.
He teaches at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław and has conducted masterclasses and chamber music courses. In 2019/20, he served as a jury member for the Wanda Wiłkomirska National Competition of Polish Violin Music in Częstochowa and the 6th National Cieszyn Violin Competition.
A promoter and lover of chamber music, he has been actively involved in organizing concerts for many years. He co-founded the OdraNocka Foundation, contributed to programming its festival, and served as Artistic Director of the Kwarteneum chamber festival.
Since 2015, Radosław Pujanek has curated the Chamber Music Series at the National Forum of Music (NFM) in Wrocław. Both artistically and quantitatively (about 25–30 chamber concerts per year), it is the most significant concert project of its kind in Poland. Between 2015 and 2020, over 100 concerts were held as part of the series, featuring world-renowned artists such as Misha Maisky, Midori, Julian Rachlin, Garrick Ohlsson, Piotr Anderszewski, Rafał Blechacz, Bomsori Kim, Alban Berg Quartet, Artemis Quartet, Noah Bendix-Balgley, Andrei Ionitza, Richard Lin, as well as distinguished Polish performers including Olga Pasiecznik, Agata Szymczewska, Katarzyna Budnik, Janusz Wawrowski, Konstanty Andrzej Kulka, Tomasz Strahl, Krzysztof Jabłoński, Klaudiusz Baran, Marcin Sikorski, Krzysztof Polonek, Rafał Kwiatkowski, Marcin Zdunik, Jakub Jakowicz, Meccore Quartet, Camerata Quartet, and many others. Hagen Quartet confirmed their participation in the opening concert of the 2020/2021 season. The Chamber Music Series program has featured many Polish and world premieres.
